The position: Technical Product Analyst
Location: Elemica Office, Hyderabad, IN
As a Technical Product Analyst at Elemica, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business users and technical teams, ensuring our product portfolio's successful development and optimization. You will be entrusted with balancing business and product strategies while meeting client commitments. Your expertise will guide the design of business requirements, incorporating best practices, process enhancements, and data analysis to drive product excellence.
At Elemica you will work closely with the application development team on our world-class Multi Carrier Shipping Solution. Technical product analysts will work closely with Elemica product managers and product development teams to define, develop, and release the highest value-generating capabilities. The analyst must be highly analytical and be hands-on and detail-oriented. They should have a high degree of intellectual curiosity and feel compelled to find creative solutions to difficult problems. What you’ll do
- Oversee the technical model of data flows and integrations and their connections within the enterprise, and leverage best practices in integrations and API's to deliver and manage integrations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all product and middleware integrations, including data flows, API contracts, interface definitions, and configuration details.
- Ensure documentation is clear, version-controlled, and easily accessible for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Integration Engineers to gather, analyze, and define technical and functional requirements for integration initiatives.
- Break down complex integration requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
- Refine epics into stories with the development team(s)
- Solicit and capture requirements for transportation applications
- Track and document changes to integration requirements, configurations, and data mappings.
- Ensure all impacted teams are informed of changes with updated documentation and impact assessments.
- Lead product sprint reviews, communicating value delivered from the previous sprint’s achievements
- Participate in sprint retrospective ceremonies with the scrum team(s) that you work with
- Conduct release demos and training for key stakeholders
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our solution
- Own and maintain a healthy backlog of value-additive capabilities
- Provide inputs to guide and steer the product direction
- Manage small and medium-sized development projects to ensure they are successfully delivered on time and on budget.
- Troubleshoot and oversee complex integrations between Elemica and other source systems.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
What we’re looking for
- 2-3 years of experience as a SaaS software
- 2-3 years of experience as a product or business analyst
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git) and documentation platforms (e.g. Confluence, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of data mapping, API standards (REST/SOAP), EDI, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Prior experience in carrier, logistics, supply chain, or ERP integrations is highly desirable.
- Strong experience documenting APIs, data integrations, and technical workflows.
- Agile team experience – preference for scrum team experience
- Naturally curious, self-starter, eager to grow and learn
- Experience with business needs assessment, requirement negotiation, and user story creation
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Passion for understanding customer behavior and driving product excellence
- Experience working with test and development teams, designing business testcases and understanding the results and impact in the processes.
- Experience with complete SDLC and agile development in an enterprise software environment
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing to individuals of all levels, including customers.
- Clear oral and written communication. Good listener.
- Must be able to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Passion for understanding customer behavior and driving product excellence
- Naturally curious, self-starter, eager to grow and learn
- Must have a high attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Office, JIRA, and Confluence
- Exposure to Software Experience Management tools like Pendo
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field of study, and 2-3 years hands-on experience.
- MBA preferred.
